MRI Revelations and Other Reality Checks

Whoa, it’s been forever since I’ve posted—my bad! Time just decided to hit fast-forward, and here we are. OOPS! Life’s been a bit of a whirlwind lately.

Life’s been busy busy busy—I’ve been busy teaming up with Not Defined By FND, and let me tell you, their initiatives have me so excited I could practically cartwheel (but I won’t, because… FND). Plus, I’ve been cooking up a little something for this site, too, but… you’ll have to stay tuned for the deets. (Patience, my friends. 😜)

And, of course, there’s life with FND. Oh, the adventure that keeps on adventuring! Not making excuses, just stating facts.

Speaking of adventures, I saw a neurologist at the end of last year who took a peek at my 2023 MRI and casually mentioned, “Hey, your brainstem has shifted.” Uhh, you think that might cause a few issues?! So now I’m waiting for a neurosurgeon consultation to “take a closer look.” Sounds terrifying, right?

BUT I’m actually so grateful that someone’s finally investigating this further. Could this be the start of real answers? Maybe even a treatment option?! SAY WHAT?! Stay tuned, folks!
